Song Requests for Reunion
Posted Saturday, September 26, 2009 08:19 AM

Greetings, Classmates!

I can't wait - just a couple more weeks and we will all be together at our Reunion Party!  I want to put one more invitation out there to you all to submit any special songs you'd like to hear throughout the Saturday night party.  I'll be playing during dinner as well as for the rest of the evening, when I hope some of you will get brave and get out on the dance floor!  So bear in mind, all types of music requests are welcome!  I will also take written requests (there'll be request slips available) during the evening - so don't be shy!  But getting your choices in advance ensures I will have them available and already in the mix.

Looking forward to seeing you all!

Peace and Love,

Debz (Debbi Mayeux) Buller - better known as DJ Shakti!

Oh my goodness, Jack!  Elton John without glasses and WITH hair!  I totally forgot how much of a crush I used to have on that guy (lotta good that would have done me - hahaha)!  Thanks for posting, and YES, this is in the set list :)  Any other requests or suggestions?  Get 'em in this weekend - I'm mixing everything down now!

Peace and Love,

debz/Shakti

Well I'm a big Electric Slide fan oh wait a minute that would be The Bustop at least that's what it was called when I first did it  in the late 70's - anyway you will have tthe Cha Cha , Electric Slide and the other dances they are doing now right?

Looking forward to it!!!

Of course I do, Kathy!  I've never played a show in all my years of doing them that I didn't HAVE to play them :)  They are always in the set-list - no matter what the theme of the event is - uncommon howpopular they are - but they do get people out there dancing!
