Tanya I. Green Williams

July 16, 1956 - January 26, 2007

Tanya Williams, 50, of Leavenworth, died Friday, January 26, 2007, at Cushing Memorial Hospital.

Tanya was born July 16, 1956, in Leavenworth, the daughter of Albert F. and Margaret (Letcher) Green. She graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1974.

On April 14, 1979, she married Kim Williams in Leavenworth. After moving to Colorado, they were blessed with two daughters, Tanichika Williams and Margaret Williams, and a son, Kim Williams II, all residing in Leavenworth. Tanya was also blessed with a grandson Mar`quez Jones and a granddaughter Mar`cionna Jones of Leavenworth. She also leaves behind two special daughters Ja`nae Curry and Liandrea Swindall both of Colorado, a special grandson, Ladavion West of Colorado.

Additional survivors include her mother, Margaret Green, Leavenworth, a sister, Carmen (Curtis) McLilly, Leavenworth, two brothers, Albert F. (Gloria) Green Jr., Leavenworth, and James (Joann) Green, Leavenworth, several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

Tanya Williams received her wings on January 26, 2007. She will be welcomed home by her father, Albert F. Green Sr., her grandfather, Atlas Letcher and her aunt Sarah Rodgers.
