Doreen Lee Parr Lewis
July 27, 1956 – February 8, 2025

Doreen Lee (Parr) Lewis, age 68 of Leavenworth, Kansas, passed February 8th, 2025. Doreen lived with her husband in Manhattan, Kansas. She was born July 27th, 1956, to the late Vincent H. and Darlene (Logan) Parr.

Doreen attended Leavenworth Schools and community college with her very good friend, Pam. Doreen was united in marriage on October 16th, 1982 to Ross Lewis in Leavenworth. He survives at the home. She and Ross had four children: Matthew Lewis of Leavenworth, twin daughters; Kelcey (Chris) Dade of Leavenworth, Caitlin Lewis of Overland Park, and Joshua Medina Lewis (deceased). She leaves behind sisters; Pat Hundley, Jane (John) Metz, and one brother; "Herb" (Roberta) Parr. She had a brother-in-law, Spike Hundley (deceased). She loved her Lord and all of her many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, aunts, and uncles.

Doreen worked for the Manufactures and Commerce Bank for thirty years. She was well-loved by all her co-workers and bank customers and will be remembered most for her warm smile and her kindness to all she met.

Doreen liked being creative she sold her handmade candles at arts and crafts fairs with her husband who made spoon jewelry. She was an avid reader and enjoyed sitting outside on her porch reading. Doreen was an amazing mother and a great wife, who loved spending time with her family.

Doreen was a wonderful woman we love her and will miss her always. There will be a celebration of Life on March 9th from 12 PM to 2:30 PM at the Riverfront in the Men's Waiting Room. Interment will be in the Kickapoo Cemetery with Josh at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Kickapoo Memorial Cemetery.
