Met my husband Jerry in 1978 while stationed in Leavenworth. Married in 1979 and moved to McDonald, Ohio. In 1980 moved back to Leavenworth, where my husband went to work for Leavenworth Penitentiary. We lived in Leavenworth for another six years and transfered to Tucson, AZ. Lived there for 2 1/2 years, then onto Prattville, AL for almost a year. From there moved to El Paso, TX and lived there for about 7 1/2 years, then back to Wetumpka, Alabama for about 1 1/2 years. Finally, I was back home again for 5 years. Then, my husband retired in 2003 and we moved to Kingman, AZ. He now, watches our 2 year old granddaughter Claire, one of the, 3 grandkids we have. The other two (Kody and Kaydyn) live in Leavenworth. Me, I am still working, but have a great job dispatching/bus driving for Kingman Academy of Learning. A four day school, with Friday-Sunday, all the holidays and summers off, not a bad job. Still, sometimes wish I were back home.
